The 2015 Season Is Upon Us!

Dear U11, U13 & U15 MHYL Families:

February is upon us!!! Once you get yourself unburied from the snow it's time to shake out those bags, dust off those sticks, tighten up the pocket and get some new tape on the shaft because the official start to our 2015 season is right around the corner!  We are very excited about the upcoming season and wanted to pass along some important information as well as some dates to remember.

WEBSITE:

  • We try to use our website for on-going communication for up to date news, information, calendar of games, practices, events and more. Please remember to visit our website frequently - www.mhyl.org

 SKILLS & DRILLS - Friday nights in February (February 6th, 13th & 27th):

  • An opportunity for all registered players to dust off and polish-up their skills.  MHYL coaches will be there to help organize and run the sessions. Players will be split into appropriate age groups
  • Must bring your helmet, gloves, stick and protective cup
  • Held in the Auxiliary Gym at The Marlborough Whitcomb School (25 Union Street)
  • From 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM

MANDATORY UNIFORM FITTING, Friday, February 27, 2015 (6:00 pm-8:00 pm):

  • Will be held in the general area of the Auxiliary Gym at The Marlborough Whitcomb School (25 Union Street)
  • Please stop by anytime between 6:00 pm-8:00 pm to have your child fitted. All players (returning and new) must attend. With the renaming of our program we have fabulous new uniforms and we want to make sure that everyone gets the correct size.
  • With the new uniforms all players will be required to purchase new game shorts.  These new shorts must be purchased and paid for at the time of uniform fitting. The fee for the shorts is $25.00. The shorts are the players to keep at the end of the season.
  • Payment; Cash or a check made payable to Marlborough Youth Lacrosse

INDOOR PRACTICES BEGIN IN MARCH:

  • Times and locations of the practice sessions have not been finalized yet for each group
  • More information to follow on:

    • All players need to be suited up for their first indoor practice

  • For those who still need to purchase equipment please stop by ComLax (739 Donald Lynch Blvd in Marlborough). They have starter packages at reasonable prices as well as items sold individually

PARENT’S MEETING, Friday, March 27, 2015 (6:00 pm):

  • Mandatory and will be held in the Auxiliary Gym at The Marlborough Whitcomb School (25 Union Street)
